French Style Snack – Toasted Cocktail Sandwich with Blue Cheese, Pear Slices and Walnuts

Ingredients:
  • Baguette with garlic butter:
  • 1 BakerVille baguette with garlic butter
  • Toasted cocktail sandwich:
  • 150g blue cheese (e.g. roquefort, brie, camembert, etc.)
  • 1 pear (cut into thin slices)
  • 50g walnuts (chopped)
  • A few drops of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation method:
  • Baguette with garlic butter:
    Cut the BakerVille baguette with garlic butter into small slices and grill or bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 5-7 minutes until they are crispy and lightly golden.
  • Toasted cocktail sandwich:
    Place a piece of blue cheese on each slice of crispy baguette. Top the cheese with a thin slice of pear. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts. Drizzle each crostini with a few drops of olive oil. Season with additional salt and pepper, if needed.
  • Serving:
    Arrange the prepared crostini with blue cheeses, pear slices and walnuts on a large plate or board.
